I've never even met you

About this poem:

A friend of mine met a young lady about three years ago while she was on holiday in Cyprus. i, unfortunately never met her but when i first started talking to her on MSN we felt a mutual connection. ever since then we have stayed very close. i wrote this poem for her about a year after we'd first got to know each other, after i'd gone through a particularly tough time in my life and she was the only person there for me, and even at 3000+ miles away from me she always knew how to say the right thing... at that time i was sure i was in love with her, but that time has passed. i now see her as the sister i've never had, and do love her but in a completely different way. it's a feeling so intense and so comfortable that i cannot explain, i feeling i never knew existed.
her name is Beth.

thank you, i don't pretend to be great at poetry but it's something i like to do occasionally. posting this was a big step for me as i usually keep what i write to myself, not out of fear of it being disliked, but more to do with what i write about is very personal to me, it holds it's own story. anyway, it's nice to hear that you enjoyed reading it, thanks for the comment :)
