“WAKE UP”

We all wake up;
We all look much older;
We all battle to find motivation-
To roll out of bed;
We all lack the inspiration-
To find inner peace-
And let our souls play.

Wake up, world stop spinning;
Look out, it’s a terrible morning;
Wake up to a duller day.
Wake up, world stop living;
Look out at the terrible morning;
Wake up to a duller way.

No blue birds to be seen;
No black birds to be heard;
The silence is deafening;
The darkness is overpowering;
It’s time for me to move-
But all my nerves shudder and refuse to work.

Wake up, world stop spinning;
Look out, it’s a terrible morning;
Wake up to a duller day.
Wake up, world stop living;
Look out at the terrible morning;
Wake up to a duller way.

We all get up eventually;
We all see ourselves stumble and fall;
We all see each other hit the wall;
Laughter turned into misery;
Fingers crossed that this time we’re right;
It’s time to change…

It doesn't seem to matter where we are, misery is misery, wether it's in South Africa or the United States of America. I guess I always thought people were happier south of the equator, I think they might be, there is more oceans.confused teddybear bunny
