Remains

No longer can you see her
In her physical shell
But she remains.
When the wind musses your hair
It is her fingers you feel.
When the sun rises
It is her glow that reflects off the water.
When it rains
It is her love falling onto you.
She is in the air that you breathe,
The water you taste,
And the emotions you feel.
She remains.
Memories from the past
New experiences in the future
She remains with you in her natural state.
She remains.

Hi, Moxiemaker,
My friend died this past week, leaving her husband and two young children and many, many friends. When the sun rises It is her glow that reflects off the water. It is good to think of all that Remains. Thank you.
