I second goodguy, not about your poem as I am not a poet so can not judge, but I can see the dilema of Intimaacy in emotions, sometimes can be cruel. thankyou for sharing and welcome to poets corner.

Conveys very well the pain and stress
that often comes with emotion...and caring.
Would that we could turn it off and on so
easily.
