Mission to Mars Ground control to a straying soul There are many who never return, but the lure from a painful reality perceived, numb, some wish to not feel ever again The red mist settles as your mood eases Angry runner dying slowly A life lived in blue A mission to Mars to escape the world There are many who never come back to the hear and the now, the living and learning Pain to pain, never seen again for now The lure from reality, numbed, they imagine a door to escape Runner, runs, run, running.... A shot in the arm or the red mist rising in one on an island This is your daily news The glamour dies, craziness is loose Lives not lived and those taken away do actually have a tale to be told...
Hi, Kant34, It's tragic when the red mist consumes what could have been a life, not to mention the collateral damage.

I recall a programme when the subject of space travel was focused on the wives, not those....at that time men they went into space...whatever their reason, I doubt many considered the impact on the lives of wives...it opened my eyes....great write Kant, reminded me of that...so many different sides to one story....Niah
