Foolish Man

I suffer in my silence since you've gone away
Not knowing the reason why haunts me everyday
Lost in confusion and trying to understand
Why I feel like such a foolish man

A foolish man is what I am for loving you
And now that your gone I don't what i'll do

Everybody said that we were meant to be together
I believed the lie our love would last forever
You believed something else, I guess I wasn't
part of your plans
You left me looking like such a foolish man

A foolish man is what I am for loving you
And now that your gone I don't know what i'll do

Winters kiss was cold but not as cold as your goodbye
The clouds can hide the sun but not the tears in my eyes
I wake up alone every morning to face who I am
Just a lonely foolish man

A foolish man is what I am for loving you
And now that your gone I don't know what i'll do

Such a foolish man that's what I am, such a foolish man that's what I am,such a foolish man,such a foolish man.......

Hi, jackman524,
While implying loving is foolish is a point that could be argued, Winters kiss was cold but not as cold as your goodbye certainly captures the toll that loving exacted when no longer returned.
