The Dragonfly

Once a beautiful thing so free and open, the wind lifting her wings into the air.

She's curled up on a pile of sand, the space in her back for the key is empty and a hole remains.

The key forever in His hands.

Sounds a bit like you got your wings bumped during the flight, it may have been accidental, not deliberate , so get that dragonfly back in the air

It is summer time and many dragonflies are around.
As a child I use to catch them by sneaking up as they perch on the grass and hold their wings together.
I would look at them for a while then release and watch them fly away.

fun times.

No Manic, the wings are damaged and will never fly the same again, but she's learning to fly in a different way.

Hi Mickhug thank you sweet Gentleman

Dragonfly's --- So special --- this is a sweet write on their peril sometimes. All my children and grandchildren know never to hurt them! The Native Americans believe they come to tell you of your ancestors and if you ever notice how they sometimes will fly up near your ears ... just stand still and then in a moment they fly away! Your spirit always knows!
