Just for today
Today, just for today I want to climb onto your lap and feel your strength.
Today, only for today I need to be needed and held like a child.
Tomorrow, tomorrow I will have pushed back this longing and gone back to the real world.
Tomorrow, the Woman will begin the daily drama of life and will not listen to the soul she has forgotten to hear.

Thank you my beautiful friend.
I have been discovering myself and in doing so have been hurt and disappointed over and over again.
I have discovered that it's not everyone else, it's me, people are who they are not the perfect imperfect person you remember from forever.
That soul is so unique and special that nobody else will come up to His standard.
So until I crash into Him one day, I will continue to hold the beautiful souls in my life close and make sure they know how amazing they are, each one put into my arms to show them that they are precious and important for as long as they need me to make them realize that.
For me, the me that craves Him, that me will wait, if not in this lifetime then He will find me in the next.
Lol sorry am rambling, I tend to do that often, I miss my poets corner and the love I always find here is like a soft blanket to curl up into and just hide away from the world for this short time.
Today I needed this blanket.
