Clever write, I find that those who don't believe in the existence of God to be a nicer lot than those who do. To die like Jesus or Joan, both are pretty darn painful, I'll pass!
Oh? ~ It's been some time since my 'religion' has been frowned upon and by a Protestant christian at that. I believe you are misguided by your beliefs, unable to see the bigger picture of what Is written. Still unable to decipher the poem? Here I'll give you a hand ~
The story has no hidden religious meaning, but characters of a religious story. This poem was simply written for the narrow minded people like yourself to feed upon and to write the nonsense crap that you just wrote.
Discussing one stanza in a poem is pointless when the other three stanzas leave you open to attack. Nice try.

I apologise Michael for misinterpreting your intent in this poem. Really.
To be honest Raymaf, I don't have a clue on what you meant. Thanks anyway.

Skeptics & atheists will always be pursued by the question of God. If there's no God or Creator or a Universal Intelligence , it is like eating your favorite dish or food with the belief that no one cooked it or no one prepared it. The structure of the human body and the universe is complicated that nothing come from nothing. There are lots of scientists who believe in God. But you are free not to believe in anything dear poet!
Thelmatalla, my poetry and 'beliefs' are desert to you religious people, eating it up and spitting tasteless comments. I believe in the 'norelgious' theory that we are all one and split into 6 billion and forever counting. When the 'one' disappears (DIES) than the existence of the remaining suffocate into nothing.
If you don't believe or continue to retaliate than it goes against your religion to judge. I come from a very christian family growing up with the bible and the cross, but call me a monster for saying this I just can't believe in something/someone who 'allows' me to take his name in vain every other night and not show a single sign that he exists. In Christianity he would show exile and banishment to those who took his name in vain.
Thank you, but no thank you to your tasteless judgmental comment. This was posted as 'Dark poetry' and not in 'religious' I don't judge your culture/beliefs/religion/nationality/family/poetry/way of life or how you live and I expect the same.
