We talked and laughed and shared our view
Of who we were and where we've been

On January 26, 1986 you borrowed mom's car and off you went
To Stafford Springs as though you were sent
You called me up and asked me out
For coffee and just to ride about

Thats when our journey in life began
8 children one woman one man
There were good times and there were bad
Times of great laughter and times so sad

On June 10, 1995 we vowed to death do us part
And it was meant from the base of our heart
on Saturday morning June 3, 2010
Was the chosen day for your life to end

Your suffering is over your pain is past
You rest in peace at last at last
Someday I'll join you like in our plan
