This is our fork in the road
Our love's last episode

To bow out gracefully

I knew just what to say
Now I found out today
All the words had slipped away

There's always a chance
A tiny spark will remain
And sparks turn into flames

Hi pinkskull

This is a most poignant write: When the reader is never sure how much of a narrative is fact or fiction, comment should be a little circumspect.

However, it has the ring of fact about it and if this is the case, a word from someone who has been around the block a couple of times himself - don't waste the rest of your life pining for the past, there comes a time for most of us when we must move on.

Fine poetry which scans very well.
