Hidden in my heart behind a smile theres loneliness, vast emotions I can no longer suppress. So close and yet so far to grasp but nothing seems worthy,I understand why Shakespeare could not compare his love to a summers day. I miss your breath on my neck, the touch of your fingers on my skin and the feel of your heart beating next to mine. A gentle word is all I ask, like a spark of light it will illuminate my soul and as each sound goes deeper,it will only be you that makes me whole. A stranger you were once, with a gentle look you once took my hand, now that time has passed........ We were once two hearts, now a stranger .....Just one heart......

About this poem:
Two hearts one love then it breaks and its feels so hard to understand and in the end all that survives is the memories of two but just one heart.

I miss your breath on my neck, the touch... This tender poem shows, 'though a relationship may die, love still survives...
