Behind The Veil

Hiding below the surface of reality I found
refuge in the hands of fantasy, illusion is
what lies ahead stimulating my crazy thoughts.
The clock of life tic tacs, time pases away, all
I can think is you in my memories.
In my soul and heart you are engraved, deep within
and between odd things I am a prisoner within.
Can't seem to touch with my grasp,I can't no
longer hold on with my clasp.
Strange I feel you are not far,though I can't
reach.
Cool exterior is my false facade, like a pompous
admiration is what I hide.
It turns out,I am already in disarray, your voice
is like a gentle whisper, your thoughts always in
my wonder, your smile the curable answer.
I am embrace with invisibilty,I have this unnoticed
ability.
Invaded by hollowness,torn asunder thoughts,its
craziness.
Sometimes I think your mirage,a illusion,ironically
you have a different devotion.
Desperation, admiration reflected in these walls of
torment.
Confused between false and truth, all lies........
.......Behind the veil of reality..........

We all have a veil which we need to unveil and at the end face reality
and give ourselves the answer to find peace within.

Heartfelt poem Philosopher. Very nice soul writing. I really enjoyed reading this. Sometimes the worst veils are those that we create. Thank you for sharing this handshake bouquet

Nice write bro.. The veil is the universal shame which has been glossed over though generations of alienation from our true origin. The shame we feel when we we meet the passer-by on the street and fail to look directly into their eyes because on a deep psychic level we all know we're guilty of some primal sin..thumbs up wine

Sometimes we have no choice but build walls; a facade to spare us
from facing our realities.
