The Winter Blues

In the cold, I hear the sound,
of my crunching footsteps on the ground.
The winds blow, puppeting the snow,
Reminding me of the perfect time for romance,
in front of a warm fire while the flames dance.
The time we share and holiday cheer,
while family and loved ones celebrate near.
I love winter for theses resons and
I understand we need all four seasons,
but really i do..hate the cold
and with the winter blues, it just gets old.
One last final snow, just to let us know..who runs the show
but have no fear, the end is near
..because spring time is almost here.

We got off lightly ourselves this year compared to last...so far anyway! This is really well penned and I share your sentiments about this particular season wine
