Easedropping

I know those who smoke, drink, and wait
Others find their paragon
in working themselves to martydrom
Some fuss with homes and gossip
or shadow their childrens lives
and others do climbing and walking to push back time
I personally like to linger just out of your way
and listen to your stories
I have been a professional easedropper since my childhood
My life is not so boring
but It seems so natural to take up easedropping
when Im in the public frey
I not a peeper from the window or the one who calls the cops
I am out and about and just happen to hear you and your friends talk
Oh an arguement is nice but it happens so rarely
The problems with the kids or your boss I enjoy the most
I get the passion and so much imagery from the gestures
When men speak its unusually fun because you have to the analyse the grunts
So don't think to badly of me when you you see me look up at you
When your yelling on the cell phone publicly
I am just a casual observer of humanity and when it's done loudly

Fellsman
Hi shewalks

That's one way of combatting boredom, and if that's what floats your boat, more power to your elbow.

It is funny how we are all different, in my neck of the woods it is possible to go out walking in the Fells for four hours or more without coming across another soul, and that is so blissful, nothing to interfere with your train of thought.

Your write is quite interesting, as I imagine you are not alone in finding it amusing being caught up in the conversations of others.

In my experience - the people with a really interesting tale to tell tend to talk too quietly to eavesdrop, the boring obnoxious ones are the ones who talk so loudly you can't help overhearing from a mile away.

Best wishes
