I think oh this is called the farm life

As morning come to light
out my window I hear the geese
honking as they fly by
I think oh this is
called the farm life
I now live
As I step out on my porch
and I see the squirrls on
our old black walnut tree
running back and forth
I think oh this is
called the farm life
I now live
As I start my tractor
to plow my garden up
so I can place my plants in the grown
it is so amazing how they grow
with out a sound
I think oh this is
called the farm life I now live
As I go out and pick black berrys on
our long country road
and I step over a cute little toad
and a turtle crawling
ever so slowly across
carrying just his shell
thinking this is sure a heavy load
I think oh this is
called the farm life I now live
I hear the cows as the walk and moo
over in the field
and my chickens picking
at the ground
wearing there fleathers like a crown
I think oh this is
called the farm life that I now live
when darkness falls
and the moon shines so
big and full
I smell the country sweet air
and I know Iam at home
And I think oh this is
the farm life that I now live
