The Feeling

Do you know that feeling?
That coldish feeling?
The feeling of nothing living,
The feeling of lonesome dreaming.

A feeling that speaks no words
Yet you know it’s there.
Have you ever felt it?
Do you think it’s just a myth?

It’s the meaning to sorrow,
The meaning to why a heart becomes so hollow.
The feeling that breaks all hearths
The feeling that destroys all paths.

The feeling that a killer feels,
The feeling that an orphan child has to deal.
Do you know of what I speak?
Should I give you another hint?

No I think not, if you don’t know of what I speak.
Then I would love to meet.
For a soul that hasn’t felt it,
Is the true myth
And I envy it.

But hang no more,
I’ll explain it all.
It’s that cold feeling
That gives the meaning.
It’s on that day
When you finally say
“It’s cold, it’s cold
I feel… so alone.”

good one. all hearts grow cold at times, but i feel its the bitterness that remains and that is fed my others, that causes total dispare, as one can only pick ones self out of the gutter so maney times.

This feeling and I are bitter friends,
It will haunt me to the very end,
For bitter though it may be,
When it's gone you're wild and free.

Very well done and expressed.I did not like the message because it is like thinking of an unfaithful ex wife, lol, but it's very good. Thanks

Chilled is not warm and flowing....and neither are all our feelings....for like seasons come and seasons go... so do feelings...and you've done some poetic justice to that truth here....well done!!!
