Mother Nature
has been so kind
to offer such beauty
that many others are quite blind

Majestic mountains and flowing rivers
rolling oceans, shimmering seas
I am truly one of the the lucky ones
for I can really see

The beauty of the sunrise and sunset
silent and gently falling snow
the voluminous valleys
that fall far below

Flowers and butterflies
birds flying in a brilliant blue sky
woods lush and green
breathe in and contently sigh

The changing seasons
autumn at its best
trees showing their glorious colors
each unique and different then the rest

I feel sorry
for those who cannot see
the beauty that surrounds us
the Gifts that are truly free
