I wouldnt if you didnt

Forgive me for the sadness
And the bringing of you down
I just needed a lover, I needed a friend
and there you were.
Running from forever like all the rest.

These floods of you are unforgiving.
Pushing passed me spilling through the banks,
And I fall.
Lost in you like saturday nights
Searching the streets with bedroom eyes.

Everything you were is fiction,
everything you are is fiction.
And if you see me chin down and toungue tied,
this is all i have to offer.

It was in my head & I saw the truth
Torn apart by love again.
Remains of ghosts are all I've felt

I am the last romantic

I haven't anything...

Staring at the noose with lust in my eyes
Shades of blue black and red

I think of that last line and I think of the guy on the motorcycle weaving in and out of traffic and hitting an open spot in the concrete and flying to his death. I wonder if he was feeling a bit lonely at the time, if he wasn't maybe he would feel like he had something to live for and would have went a little slower.motorcycle
