Time
Sitting here now, a mind that goes so deep. Laying beside me, so dreamy, beautiful in her sleep. Those unearthly features, how could any world, any mind, imagine such a beauty of a creature. Her lips, as lovely as they taste, worth all the years, all the waste. For so long, day after day, year after, this spirit, this dream I chased. I will treasure every breath she takes, she will know my love, in her sleep, and as she wakes. From what distant star, what slip in time, it makes no reason, no rhyme. This magical spirit, I can see it, feel it, almost hear it. The love we share, two souls that become one, together in life, never to part, not even in death, forever one heart. Honor is a given, respect a must. How she keeps me living, I give this woman my trust. Love, that lonely word, written in so many letters, spoken in so many tongues. Taken lightly by many, sincere, with every breath from my lungs.
