A thousand steps
Walking a crocked fence
Everywhere I'm looking
All I see is ends
Going ahead to tumble
Stepping back just to trip
Wobbling isn't easy
Praying that I won't slip
Reach out a hand will you?
Catch me if I fall
I'll try to overcome this
Crooked fences and all
