The sun rises another day is born
I watch the sun break the horizon this dawn
I close my eyes and listen to the birds sing
hearing them is giving me a special feeling
I take a deep breath the air so crisp
I pour a glass of water and take a sip
I stand in awe of the sight of the land
from the tree i stand beside i can see the sea and the sand
another wave rolls in for miles its travelled
it finally reaches the beach and is unravelled
a dolphin swims along the shore line
the sea like glass it looks so fine
I think to myself how lucky i am
lifes gifts are rich and plentiful
the world is so extremely beautiful
the awe and wonder at life we must never lose
we must get up get out and enjoy it too
