I can really relate to this poem, I feel the same most of the time I feel its the love of words, and how we can express them, is the Jumble of Thoughts- that sets our mind/heart all in a flutter.
Really enjoyed your wonderful poem..a beautiful read.

Hi Shadow
The poets of yore had a tough life, it is said the most important piece of kit owned by the great writer/poets was their waste paper basket.
The likes of Byron, Tennyson et al didn't have the luxury of word processing, editing in MS Word and playing around with different words, sentences and even entire paragraphs, they had to simply scrunch up their errors and throw their discarded scribblings into the rubbish bin then start again. How lucky are we in this respect?
Some very good use of metaphor in this write...
