for some grief lightly brushes by a person they didn't really know within a few months totally forgotten these are the lucky ones for most, grief is a devastating thing so many things to remind you about them time really doesn't exist, just the loss and the heart-wrenching pain some days easier to leave behind the next bringing you to your knees all it can take is a chance word an action, even a line in a book and crash it all floods back in so people try to remember just because your life has moved on for others try though they will it has not, it is still fresh, bitter and so devastately still in their face so pause when you see them cry give what little comfort you can just remember one day sadly it may be you who will have this loss and pain to bear

I can certainly relate to your poem Linda.Just last year i lost two family members in a car accident. It was really devastating and the pain still lingers today. We deal with such grief differently.A moving piece.
Good write, it is a totally personal thing and we all deal with it our own way. Rob

Hi Heather we crossed in the either lol I just wrote to you about this glad it helped you
it does hurt when one single minute thing can remind you of your past partner, what a beautiful sentiment. may that one thing bring you joy rather than sadness....david xx

OMG!!!!at last there is some one who really has understood how others feel and that they do not wallow in self-pity but that the pain that they try to suppress is brought on again by some incident or someone that reminds you of that person. My dearest girl I am so overwhelmed with your understanding, thank you I dont need pity I just need to either vent or ease my pain so I write dear but some never did understand this.Blessings to you sweet one.
