An Unconditional Love.

For the man asked her,
"why would you want to be,
with a modern leper like me?"
a man who lives with HIV...

Hyenas howl at his gate,
above the vultures sail,
they bleed the man dry
his very heart they impale...

His sad eyes hide the silent rage,
somehow the arrow shot him,
an archer killer on the rampage,
the prince of all plagues...

The man told her,
just because he had HIV,
does not really mean
that she could never be close to he...

Today it does not mean,
he would get AIDS and die,
if someone told her differently
just a foregone conclusion, even a lie...

For she accepted the man,
a sought after love she could not resist,
she loved him and realized
HIV is not contracted by a mere kiss...
