Ion Bonding

Embedded image from another site

To her
I bond,
it is ancient
older than the planet...

Let us drink
of one cup,
share from
the same loaf of bread...

Why do we
play hide and seek?
let us
find each other...

Shall we
share a bond
that not even death
would violate?

No more chains
that hold me to the ground,
chains that
keep me solidly bound...

Those chains
that shield
my love, my heart,
chains only our heart can yield...
