The Four Seasons

Spring comes every year but once in your life
You are born as fresh as the spring with no strife
There are no complications and no stress
The world is given to you despite it's mess
You'll grow into its unyielding challenging days
And learn so much of its unforgiving ways

Summer comes every year, but for you the next faze
Before you can blink you're in the teen craze
The world needs fixing and you have the tools
You will want it all now just like the old fools
This time should be a treasure of memories that last
Hold on to those days while they are still in your grasp

Fall comes every year but for you it becomes middle age
You take the time to look back and reread each page
People around you now show a different respect
Over the years you try to attain with little suspect
Father time is gaining it is puzzling where it went
All those moments of life and how they were spent

December comes every year but in life it can be cold
It is fidget shock you have become suddenly old
Never to be avoided you can only look back
It can be satisfying with many a successful track
Or a disappointing sequence of stumbling mistakes
The Four Seasons of life take us all through its gates
