Have You Ever

Have you ever been in love?
Have you ever felt that cringe?
That feeling from above?
That very special zing?

Have you ever seen the stars?
Just gazing in the sky?
Like driving a fast car
The time just passes by

Have you ever met that girl?
The one you always think about?
The one that rocks your world?
The one you cannot live without?

About this poem:

I wrote this poem for my tech when I was in the hospital for throat trouble. She was younger then me, she was a college student studying nursing. I gave her a copy of this poem to keep. I still think of her.
