The very early sudden snow storm has caught out the rose bush there amidst two feet of snow bravely it opens its scarlet petals
A vivid bright spectacle against the pure white new snow drifts I look realising that as it struggles proudly fighting the harsh conditions
Standing stately tall and unphased seeming to give itself a good shake as if to say, bring it on, do your worst whatever you throw at me I will survive
So thus are there parallels in life adversity rears its ugly head when you are least expecting it taking you unawares, off guard
Now do you go boldly forth? display your glory to all around? or do you fold up and give in? the choice is in our own hands
