Today I saw you but you never knew my name We both felt a connection, but then we left alone We shared a laugh, a moment the same I looked into your eyes and took that image home
An unexpected random meeting I will not see you again How cruel to think that feeling was fleeting How one sweet moment can cause me pain
Today it seems will only taunt me Why were you sent to captivate Your eyes, your smile now to haunt me One moment in time, a phantom fate

moments are what we have
Welcome to poet's corner
Such truth in this poem. Those fleeting moments of contact that just disappear into oblivion. Well written.
