BLACKER.

IN THE SHADOWS OF DARKNESS I FOLLOWED,

WALKING SILENTLY INTO THE NIGHT,

A BUTTERFLY FLUTTERED ALONG MY SIDE,

BUT IT'S BEAUTY REMAINED OUT OF SIGHT.

IN THE LAND WAS A FIELD FULL OF FLOWERS

THERE AROMA SEDUCTIVE AND SWEET,

BUT THE BLACK IN THE NIGHT, TOOK AWAY ALL MY SIGHT,

THEY WHERE CRUSHED BY THE STOMP OF MY FEET.

IN THE DISTANCE A VISION OF LIGHT APPEARED,

THEN THE BUTTERFLY FLEW AWAY,

A RIVER OF FEAR I CREATED FROM TEARS

ON THAT NIGHT, IN THE DARK, FAR AWAY.

LET THE RAIN WASH AWAY ALL MY SINS,

AND THE SOUND OF THE WIND DROWN MY SCREAMS

GIVE ME SIGHT, LET ME SEE ,BREAK MY CHAINS, SET ME FREE,

LET THESE NIGHTMARES CONVERT INTO DREAMS.
