Faith and Gratitude

When I was little
My Grandpa wrestled bears
Every Sunday
Out in the woods
Behind the small house
He built for us

At least
That's what he told me
And I believed him
For many years
Even after
I had figured him out

Yes I'll go along with the innocence of a child.. I like to see my grandson's face light up when I tell him made up stories of enchanting tales!!He's ten now and probably would have a doubt or two about some at least!! Lovely little poem. handshake

Thanks.

The idea, in the title, is just about that.

There's a point at which you have to believe something, because it's what you're told.

There is also a point at which you may realize what you have been told isn't entirely accurate, but you are grateful for it, because you understand the reason it was done that way.

Growing up, a lot of things are like that.

I love my Grandma. She was my parents for a long time. She's been the closest I've come to an angel. angel teddybear
