playing a heart tune

Sitting on
the bonnie banks
o Loch Lomond
alone whistling
staring across
plays this tune
on deep reflections

gently tugging
upon heart strings
softly within
bells begin ringing
emotions rejoice
dropping the
draw bridge
golden feelings
gates open

in deep chambers
welcome princess
to the palace
of dreams
a castle
holding out
for you
one rose
from the heart

in this realm
golden sweet tunes
play on heartstrings
sweetest music
of love
dancing on air
across streams
a stepping stone
walking on feelings
emotions call
your name

heading in
the right direction
to love again
in your love
a dream

Very clever play with words Liam. I especially liked the fourth and fifth stanzas.
