When we are born we start the labyrinth of life, when we are very young our parents take the reins but as you slowly grow up it then becomes your own responsibility, we have only two roads to take but we nearly always make the wrong choice a stumbling block through life, when we choose wrong we find our self in a maze or labyrinth, we then have to solve our puzzled mind and find our way out. These are life's ongoing problem to make sure our minds stay alert as we strive to stay on the correct road to get to the next level of understanding, they say you never look back, so the conclusion is to succeed in what you are doing and pursue the impossible. there is nothing impossible, however there are times when they are improbable. This is the rule of the labyrinth of life, can we rise to the occasion or fall behind at the wayside. The ultimate test applies to all.

I read it again John and it dawned on me that not only this is a very intriguing but that it does pose the very bid question in life> HAVE WE MADE THE RIGHT CHOICE? My personal answer to this John is that it is not whether we really did make the right choice but that making the best of whatever we have opted and or pick is what matters. I always believe that things happen for a reason and people come in your life for all good reasons, sometimes, not always good but then I always make sure I learn from that encounter. Otherwise I would be living my life, with the whati, what would have, and what should have, and be stuck there.
But that is me so all that happened in my life. Yes, I think I have always made the right choice.
Thanks anyways. It got me rally into thinking and I am glad I read it again.

Hi Mimzy, You are right the wrong way is always obvious and sometimes can offer you great wealth and riches to trick your senses, when you have two choices it is a 50-50 chance you could be right/wrong, you may flip a coin or draw straws but the end result will always occur, it may be the choice you have to accept as change may be inevitable or it may be already written that this was the right decision, sometimes for good or for bad, while you make your decision someone else may be choosing the opposite creating that event in history, only God has our true destiny in mind as he always makes the right decision, that is why there is so many tragic events in time, as it is the way it was meant to be, no if ands or buts just fact. Thank you for your opinion as I like to here from you all on my writings I am not always right but I try to write it as it appears to me.

Thanks Sunday Rose, I write so many of these inspirational poems I really create interest with poets here, that is good this may be a new dimension to poetry writing by creating a readers forum in feedback, what you said was true as long as the wrong decision worked out well it may still be a good thing, in that instance, the situation may have been a win/win situation as either way it was done created the same end result, the whole thing is God is the only one that knows the end result as it is etched in stone as our future history, we all have and make decisions we can only try to do our best to come up with the right decisions and if we are wrong so be it, to err is human as they say, we would have to be on God's level to be the perfect decision maker and It may be a long time before we find that person. God's decision was the perfect society so he is possibly disappointed the way it all turned out, it is up to all of us to contribute what we can to make this world a better place, I thank you for your feedback and all the best to you. Thanks Dark Horse, I have created a lot of interest with this poem poet's are giving me their own views on it sort of a writer's forum I think or a blog, I must be on top of my game on these type of inspirational poems I love to hear their views, everyone benefits by everyone's feed back I try to write sometimes very ordinary things then I tend to tweak it a little and whammo I create a talking point for everyone, not the way poetry normally works, I could do very basic stuff but the more I write the more intricate it gets I don't know how far I can evolve, but my imagination is making it easier to focus on new poems. I think I do this so not to be typecast in a particular genre, well if the poets like my poems I will try to continue to please and entertain them. Thank you DH for your comments I appreciate them if you don't like one of my poems please tell me, being a critic helps create a better product by the Author, everyone can create bad work but if you learn by those mistakes you will ultimately improve your writings, kind regards. hi john, it seems independent of any choice we make, we're 'in it' - the labyrinth. it's ultimate role leaves me in the sacred mystery and yet, maybe it's soul purpose is for us to individually and collectively Consciously Become Higher Expressions of The One Essence.
Concerning choice I resonate with what SR shared, and don't sense things are a matter of making right or wrong choices per se. It seems we can only make choices that reflect our current level of consciousness at any given time; when our consciousness rises, the quality of our choices rise. When that happens, we can then experience different levels of this thing called Life.

Hi beautifulyou It seems making the right choice may be pure speculation as there maybe no right or wrong choice, but what you make of the situation at the time, it is amazing how everyone sees this poem in so many different angles, it is great that I wrote this as it shows all poet's here are great thinkers and have their own spin on things, an interesting experiment, if things happened like that in the real world life would be amazing, thank you for your wonderful comments, and I will continue to amaze and entertain you all in the name of poetry ? well some anyway until we all think the same and they realise what really is a poem, no definitive answer, I say it is anything that is a projection from the mind. Of all my poems this one has had the most reaction when I wrote it. Nice hearing from you I took a few months off to reflect, I may not post as many this year but you will get poems from time to time, all the best to you. John

Thanks so much Madtad, I am pleased I am doing it for you, I seem to encounter the strange and bizarre in my poems but when I first started I used the rhyming standard technique it just did not work for me so I recreated my own niche here, I get the critics saying this is not poetry, well it is not a parliamentary speech either so who care anyway, my definition of poetry is if it is fun and it entertains people then it's poetry, I do tend to bend the rules at time, but you have to do this to be noticed, I have no complaints so I let my brain do the creating and I will post the results, all the best to you let the poems keep flowing. John
