I am like a face book status Updated by God You can click "like" on me Hate me or ignor me Only the updater above can delete me You can not delet what you have not updated
Even if you think I'm lame or outdated Send me your sweet bitter and better comments I'm a status of vilage children Singing and dancing after the rain. I'm a status of township children Singing and dancing on top of courigated iron Poverty branded with banded dream Yet still hoping for a better tomorrow without sorrow I revive hope lost deep on liquer in the shebins Where yesterday dreamers tell tales Of what they used to be
I am galvanised with freedom of expression I am a sweating passion of African fesion My ticket to a gig of life given by God is with me I am a township cheff marinating chicken With dust spices feeding the leaders of tomorrow
I am a house builder without a house I am a motor mechanic without a car I am a hustler in the streets selling dreams of Jamaica "Brotherman one love" I am a status of my own The child of Africa given birth by Africans I am the status of my own happiness I dance to the rythm of African songs I am a status, updated by God.

About this poem:
This poem is about 'n African who is proud of being 'n African Yet also understands tha he is also what he is because of God, he sings praise for what he is, he admire the beaauty of Africa with all the poverty. This poem is about me and I wrote it when I discovered how lucky I was that God has updated me. The African.........
very wonderous write,we all should be proud of our hartage, but it is not what defines who we are, who we are is what lies deep within us, we are all creatures of god and made in his likeness. We all feel, love ,hurt and bleed the same although we may not always see things the same. Every man, woman and child of this earth is the same though our bodys may have diffrences. Always be proud of who you are not what you are,for we are all blessed in the eyes of god.
