As I was walking about
I came across
a three legged dog
he was behind a fence...
He barked as is if to say hello
that he was doing just fine
that he could do everything
a four legged dog could do
he did not view himself as handicapped...
He barked and wagged his tail
he didn't say life wasn't fair
I think he was trying to say
he's just like any other dog...
I stopped and petted his head
and began to think
this three legged dog
does better than most two legged people..

We have a Shi tzu who lost an eye
at Christmas.......she couldn't be
happier . We were distraught.
Nice write........Mick.

Yes it makes you wonder as I have just followed vetrans climb and they have no true limbs. Some without arms and with great courage go forward and raise money for others.
Steven Hawkins uses mind alone so some do and some do not.
Great poem though for those that don't.
