It so happens the other day, I ran into Pain, I said "Hello how are you my friend?", "I'm so happy to see you again!", "God how long has it been?", "Wow how long has it been?", But I was talking to Pain, She said "Are you talking to me?", "I don't even know your name.", Looked at me in disdain, Then she turned and walked away, Turned and walked away, I ran into pain..., The other day, I was talking to Pain...

About this poem:
Something I wrote from anothers encounter and perspective...
Hi, madtat29, Then she turned and walked away… It's always good when it's Pain that turns away and no longer recognizes one - and not Love. First, I was going to say, "Thanks for sharing these Pain-free moments"; but, then, I thought Pain, being impersonal, attacks everyone without knowing their names. Then, I looked at the title Remember me? and go with my first thought. Thank you for sharing.
Reminds me of the Chicago woman at the video store who was yelling at the clerk for no reason. I guess her reason was she was full of pain and unleashed on this poor girl. I felt so guilty for not helping out, but what if she attacked me? That what if has caused me not to reach out to the pretty girls, but at least you tried.
Hiya Poet..i like pit myself in others shoes and see what it would look like from their perspective..often its a completely different view...See ya bud

I was told a long time ago Pain along with other negative emotions were in our control, Pain can be as bad as we let it, but sometimes it does sneak up and king hit us from behind, unless of course your talking about pulling a splinter out or a breakage in a much needed appendage then that is different again, I saw a humorous side to this
You got it Angie...I believe everything inside can be controlled to a point..I try not to let things get out of hand but it does happen sometimes...Ty for stopping to read and comment
