Soul Remembers

Your leaving me,
lingers like a taste,
the scent of you,
a fresh caress,
as finger whispers remember
the ardent delicacy
of your intimate flesh.

Eyes closed,
I imagine you inside me
finally underneath
porcelain skin.
soul mingles with bone
& there is no more need
to bear the
lonely extravagance
of separate bodies.
