Now we in the thick of winer does it have to be dull drab days lingering on

I'm always cheered by the robins song,

Hearty meals I like to cook ,winter gives time to read a book

Take a tip from nature ,cool things down be at ease ,breathe the air in the cool crisp breeze.

Why complain of being indoors I'm grateful for the rain that pours,

How I love the snow to fall ,watching faces all aglow,

Winter can give and take away .
