Well it was St. Patrick's day And there was a Public Health and Safety seminar The irony of this is incredible The auditorium is nicely decorated dark and light Presentations about safety and proper lifting However the floor at the back is not as level There is a ramp that is high but unnoticeable Interesting but also dangerous Work for ten years and do not take time off Come to a seminar and get hurt Go the the hospital and wait for two hours x-rays questions, answers and hypothesis all in a days work Getting home with crutches is a new experience However the day is done and it is time to rest Filling out the forums, anticipating the proper procedures Where do we go from here??? Honesty is the best policy Uncertainty takes its toll Supervisors and doctors have interesting theories Life is an adventure but honesty should prevail The union says everything will be fine The checks will start coming like always Who are you to believe? The anxiety is overbearing In God we trust However seems to be lots of uncertainty I wish everyone well in their journey of employment This is supposed to last a lifetime Honesty and sensitivity/ supervisors and co-workers Games people play are not nice However this is the end of day one I am restless and awaiting the outcome of day two and the honesty with fellow workers To do the right thing always and carry on and carry on Blessings and Love Positive thoughts, Peace and Tranquility
