Moon Girl

she had changeling eyes,older and greener than the forest
whispering twilight kisses,to my one pointed ear
with lips soft and red as the soul of roses
but the fey blood had grown thin,choked on steel and iron and the filth which money buys

it is not clear from the way it is written,but the last line was about myself.....I spent a lot of time living a more simple life,feel so caught up in the rat race now,just want to go back to the forest and spend my days doing art....its the moon girl ,she gets in my head sometimes

I learned at an early age that money is not worth it. I too love the first 3 lines and I wish for you that you will be able to return to the climate where your soul soars.
