It's fun to get up there and sing a song Sometimes to get a laugh Sometimes to get a laugh without planning on it My last song was Stan by Eminem My first karoke song was 1979 by the Smashing Pumpkins My biggest laugh for Adam Sandler's At A Medium Pace Some songs haven't gone over so well Cyndi Lauper's Time After Time Billy Joel's Allentown I have to admit sometimes I sing a song to mess with the audience Now I am singing songs that are related to Halloween My next song will be The Blob My song after that will be Attack of the Killer Tomatoes I started singing karaoke in 2001 I have been singing every week since then I do one song a week at a bar called Brothers on Second This is in Platteville, Wisconsin I have sang around 780 songs so far

About this poem:
I sing every day in my car. If I had a house I would sing much more, but apartments don't work too well as I like to sing really loud. Most of my songs are pop songs and I try to taylor them to the holidays.

You must be quite a singer Mike. (780 songs.) Wow! I've heard alot of Karaoke singers who were really great at it. I learn something interesting about poets here and wonder what other talents people have not disclosed. Cafe

Mike.. This is what I love about this site. Thank you for sharing that. A juggler too? Lol. I don't think I could juggle my car keys. But maybe I could share something about myself that many poets here might not suspect of me because of my laid back nature. I became a black belt in karate in my early thirties. All my instructors, my class mates, and the audiences that watched me spar told me that I was the most cat quick hell fire black belt they'd ever seen. Sometimes I'd put on a show for the neighbors at my sisters house and do 360's over a wooden fence breaking three boards. I still try to stay in shape Cafe
