what do you see
What do you see
When you look at me
A heart of gold
Or a stare so cold
Am I peaceful in my repose
Is this real you suppose
Can you know my fears
Can you dry my tears
Do you see my dreams
Is it all it seems
Can you know my heart
Do you see it torn apart
Who helps me heal
Who gives me reason to feel
Are you that soul
Who comes to make me whole.
