Freedom of thought!
The thunder rolls above my head, some God is angry, something I said?
If lighting strikes then I am done, nowhere to hide, nowhere to run,
Did I take some name in vain? Release thy wrath? instill the pain?
God above will show his love when all obeys, what God says!
But I just don’t know what I should do, so many God’s, which one is true?
I think I will take a different view and be myself not follow you!
In this world of diversity who knows what’s right who knows what’s true,
I won’t take sides or follow blindly, I’ll be me, and I'll never deny your right to see, what’s true to you, is the way to be.

The answer my friend, is blowing in the wind...
As I mentioned in my poem about music...
Life is simple really.
Whenever there's dissonance, you just need a consonance to bring it back in order.
A consonance in music is two or more tones of different frequencies that result in a musically pleasing tone.
We all have freedom of speech and thought.
For me, I find it easier to express those verbally, or through music.
Sound is very powerful...
Music, or the sound of a voice.
Words written on a keyboard, behind a screen, don't have any consonance.
it's just the holy man moving and changing his furniture around..lol
God doesn't punish people but if he did, I'm sure it would be others to feel the wrath of God before any Irish man looking for shelter..
Nice read though and maybe don't follow, just believe instead
Maybe this is what Opt could hear?
I was waiting impatiently for the rain to shower me and wash away the drought.
"Sometimes people don't want to hear the truth because they don't want their illusions destroyed".
How true!
Jumping with joy and singing along...
Then a thought came to my mind...
That if we ever miss the boat,
Noone will be left behind.
