Jeeves! Look who’s returned with the cart Hey, it’s Dolly!! She’s squeezing the filling into that tart! It looks all ripe with extra bananas and cream Keep licking there and she’s liable to scream!
Dolly’s buns are in dire need of a spread! Place the Admiral in the oven! Watch him rise like bread!! Stir real slowly!! Hitting all sides with the crème! Careful!! It’s slippery and beginning to steam!!
Tastes mighty gooey, dipped in warm apple pie Steady there Admiral! Don’t let it hit her in the eye! Dolly, turn down the heat! He’s ready to blow!! The cream horn's all moist and raring to go!
Knead right here, make it juicy and pliant!! Can’t take much more of this pounding excitement!! The Admiral’s éclair’s stuffed between snug lips As the filling erupts and heads straight to her hips!
Hi, Jazzy, Jeeves! The challenge was met! Now, will I ever be able to look at a dessert cart again without recalling your poetic images. Thanks for showing us the other side.
OMG…lol…did I write this?! Didn’t know I had it in me!! Thanks Rob for all your help…it was fun trying to imitate your style Perhaps Cake Trolley will someday have another viewing
jerseygirl - perhaps a bit over the top...but still a blast to write...stepping out of the box and writing in a differnt syle has given me a new perspective
I read your first page of poems, and I liked them.
This one was fantastic, I loved the whimsical prose. Thank you for making me smile!
I want to thank you for your comments on my poem. I did not know that you could see who viewed your works until today. I am sorry that I haven't gotten back to you sooner.
