The Sunbreak

The Sunbreak

A circle of golden sunlight
Through the dark gray clouds
Spotlights a small area of trees
The raindrops clinging to the leaves
Glisten in the golden light.

Sparks a bright memory, like
A warm spot of sunlight
Through the dark gray days
In my life now gone--
A break from the chilly storm
That shrouded my memories of you.

jacey, we all know what one is, you probably just get more of them, being in a temperate forest zone. The allusion to a vision past is clear...pure light.
