Road To Recovery

Pulse racing...
heart pounding
stop thinking it`s too late now
the feeling is binding

Bound by circumstance
or bound by his charms
bound by lust
or bound by chance

And I who seek more
than just pleasure and pain
but you just like the rest of them
will take this soul, this fragile heart
you will take it in vain

I`m standing in a crowded room
begging, screaming for MERCY PLEASE
then all falls silent
as my body starts to speak...

"young lady naive you are but you`ve never been a sleaze.

Stop thinking and be quick for the hour is upon us
It might be safely guarded now
but one day it`s your heart that you must trust"

About this poem:
This poem stems from my unwillingness to let anyone in and I know that the time has come to break down the walls but the angst before... I can`t even explain it.

lovely heartfelt poem, and have no fear kristy, the heart has no Armour, to defend itself against love, when true love calls, the door of the heart is always open, there is no point in closing it, love will find a way.

Hi, Kristy24,
May the Road to Recovery be paved with honest and trustworthy souls, for the heart must do what the heart must do to live and love.
