Well reality is the only way to fall in love and out of love. Virtual is fantasy which is where we all are now in fantasy world.
Still it's a nice place to go to relax and chill out, chat to CS friends. As for meeting up in the fantasy world only a tiny percentage meets in the real world. Yes there is a huge difference to Reality and Virtual.

it is completely different, and even within each is different levels of stability and as people are so very different, for some they may choose one instead of the other. I have always chosen to meet as a goal and therefore it would not make sense to me to stay in the virtual world.
At some point I would have to meet.

But then, sometimes that's the whole point: one or both of the parties involved may not actually want the answers - preferring the haze of possibility instead.

I like the way you equate the virtual world with a Fantasy, it calls all types of mythical creatures to mind
