So i dont have a lot of friends, and i dont really do a lot with the one's i do have and they never ever everrr want to go to the cinema, and right now im going to go see the planet of the ape's at 2:30 on my own and ive never gone on my own before.

There is nothing bizarre about going to the cinema on your own. I do it all the time, you certainly wont be the only one going alone, surprising how many single seats are taken when I book the online thingy to get my seat. YA DON'T HAVE TO SHARE YOUR GOODIES EITHER WHICH IS AWESOME laugh

DONT WORRY its a state of mind like going to the airport alone getting on the plane alone putting on the headset and watching a film alone and than realize hang on a sec im on a plane full of people !

Nothing wrong with goin on your lonesome DDB , I've done it .

Enjoy , hell you might not go home alone but make sure your eyes have properly adjusted to daylight when the film's over so ye can see her properly to either take her home or run !!! laugh

I love going alone - saves having to listen to the "that was crap!" statements from your mates and having to defend why I enjoyed it or take the blame for suggesting it and wasting peoples money! I also prefer to go early in the morning rather than at night. I guess we're all 'freaks' in our own way and I wouldn't have it any different.

I have gone on my own in the past and probably will do again in the future. As for Rise of the Planet of the Apes, I have 2 teenagers who are willing to take me this weekend so I am set. They will also take me to see Cowboys and Aliens but I might need other company to see The Devils Double. It strikes me as the sort of film that I would need company for. hmmm

well it was dark when i went in so i couldnt see how many people were there, but when it ended and the lights came on i was the only one there alone so i ran out shouting I DIDNT COME ALONEEEE

Yeah I have done when dropping my son to the cinema with his mates I'd go in to see a different film so I don't have to drive home and back again to pick him up. I have no problem going in on my own thumbs up
