There are first dates, for me at least. I had a guy bring me to the aquarium and dinner as a first date, and every other date after that it was always entertaining or something fun(only one movie). Even staying in for the night, there can be games, dinner getting cooked, movie rentals, Wii battles. Mix it up

Its funny but I recently had this conversation with my 22 yr old. Ive been dating a lot since I returned to Canada and wondered why she never has "dates" She let me know that her generation doesnt "date" (not to mention she called me a fossil ) 
From what I can figure out, the younger gen seems to go around in a clump and then just hook up with who they are interested in. I told her it seems so sad not to experience dating and all the romance that goes with it. In fact they dont even seem to have a concept of romance. Well, like I said she thinks Im a "fossil" and I think they are missing out on one of lifes great pleasures.
